Thanking him for the music, expressing regret that the recipient can make no profit from Kalliwoda's piano works, adding that his Rondos opp. 10 and 11, published by Breitkopf & Härtel, were well received, wondering why they are not to Herr [Gottfried Wilhelm] Fink's liking, saying that the new works are easier than his rondos and certainly not as difficult as works by Kalkbrenner, Moscheles, Herz, and others, mentioning his Rondo for violin and orchestra, two pieces for piano four-hands, a concert overture, thanking him for offering an opera text, mentioning his forthcoming visit to Leipzig, etc.
